I founded Brownson Risk + Regulatory to help assisted living providers, investors, insurers, and defense counsel navigate compliance and risk with clarity and confidence.
 

I bring more than 30 years of experience in healthcare — beginning with 10+ years as a registered nurse in acute care, followed by 14 years as operations counsel for a Fortune 500 long-term care provider, supporting its skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy divisions. From there, I held an executive leadership role with a multi-state assisted living provider for over 10 years, with responsibility for clinical operations and enterprise compliance and risk mitigation.

This rare combination of clinical, legal, and operational experience provides me the foundational expertise and insights to effectively navigate regulatory terrain — positioning stakeholders to approach compliance and risk decisions with clarity and confidence.
